Celebrating the success and hard work of our employees is an important part of our culture at Sewer Equipment. Every quarter we recognize and reward one team member, nominated by their peers, for an act that was beyond the call of duty and invite them to join the Sewer Equipment Eagles Club.
This quarter, Sewer Equipment is excited to announce the newest member of the Eagles Club: Terry Hackbarth. Terry has worked for Sewer Equipment for over 7 years on the vacuum assembly line, supporting our Model 900 ECO combination sewer cleaner and Ramvac HX trucks.
In his current position, he is responsible for the pre-testing of hydraulic functions on all vacuum units and hose wrapping on all hose reels. Terry was nominated by a fellow employee for working through his lunch break to assist a member of our service department to locate urgent parts for a repair.
This is not the first time Terry has gone beyond the call of duty. On many occasions, Terry has been known to skip breaks and lunches to assist purchasing and service with “hot” projects and traveled off-site to assist his supervisor with valve training for a customer.
Terry enjoys his work at Sewer Equipment, as he has a passion for mechanical equipment and working with tools. He is motivated by his desire to improve quality and implement new processes that help gain efficiencies, saving time during the production process.
